About Zeta House
Phase 1 of Zeta House in the Summer of 2024
Zeta House was founded in 2024 in East Austin, Texas, as part of a broader experiment in alternative living and governance models. The idea came from our founder Roger's experiences with short-term rentals like Airbnb, which often lacked reliable workspaces. This inspired the creation of Zeta House, a space designed for living, working, and growing in a community.
Zeta House is one of many global experiments in coliving and coworking, inspired by the concepts found in Network States: new ways of living and organizing communities that emphasize both individual and collective growth. Our goal is to foster a shared sense of purpose while supporting personal development.
Coliving at Zeta House isn't just about saving on costs. It's about creating a sense of community and trust. By offering a stable, community-oriented living environment, we aim to provide an alternative to transient vacation rentals that supports longer-term relationships and collaborations.
With remote work and hybrid work becoming the norm, Zeta House offers the amenities and space needed to make this lifestyle possible. Our residents benefit from a balance of private living and shared, productive working spaces. Staying at Zeta House is part of a larger journey, a place where you can grow professionally and personally. And when you're ready, we wish you well as you move on to new opportunities.
At the heart of Zeta House are our core values: Trust, Community, Growth, and a focus on the future. We view Zeta House as an experiment, always adapting and improving based on what we learn from our residents and the broader coliving community. We are connected to other coliving and coworking experiments around the world, sharing ideas and inspiration.
We invite you to join us at Zeta House, Austin's home for those who seek to live and work with purpose.
